    Position Profile

    The position is field based and is part of the Channel and Contract Operations department. Responsible for national  channel partnership across multiple  venues including Specialty Distributors, Specialty Pharmacies, Retail and Chain pharmacies, wholesalers  and 3rd party logistic providers. Responsible for leading, mentoring and directing the activities of the CAM team throughout all Channel relationships with new and existing partners.  Act as  a conduit for communication between Channel Operations and our channel partners.   This position is directly responsible for retail and chain Solriamfetol   product stocking, Vyxeos and Erwinaze specialty pharmacy and/or distribution uptake and Prialt specialty pharmacy activities. Must be able to deliver value added solutions to our customers, external channel partners, and internal Jazz customers. Must be passionate about the patient experience.  


    • Oversees CAM Team and all Channel Account  relationships and strategies.
    • Develop high functioning team to support existing and new Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributor, 3PL, Wholesalers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and Chain Pharmacies. Optimize services commitments to enhance performance for the Jazz product portfolio.
    • Work closely with Channel Operations to create supporting business plans and initiatives; identify short-term and long-term objectives for the program initiatives and outline solutions to achieve objectives, including measurements and timelines.
    • Instruct and mentor CAM team throughout the  negotiation of  distribution contract terms, fees, service parameters and  all contractual conditions.  
    • Act as liaison between Legal, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality Assurance and Market Access teams in an effort to stream line contract implementation flow
    • Work cross functionally with individual Brand Teams to ensure overall awareness of Channel partner knowledge and background.
    • Provide subject matter expertise all aspects of channel landscape to leaders across Jazz.
    • Provide distributor, customer and competitor feedback to management.  Provide Management with insightful analyses of market behavior and buying patterns
    •  Provide valuable and creative solutions to various challenges including stock out, back order, short dated situations to internal partners.
    • Work within the Pricing and Policy to provide oversight of contractual obligations in reference to pricing and policy.  
    • Extensive cross functional collaboration with Legal, Finance & Accounting, BU’s, Marketing and the Market Access team.

    Education and  Experience

    • Strong management experience with proven ability of motivating and developing effective, diverse team members.
    • Excellent negotiation, sales, analysis, management, business acumen, contract strategy and presentation skills
    • 10+ years in Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably Channel, Reimbursement or Payer.
    • Requires BS/BA and advanced certification
    • Ensure compliance of multiple operating policies in an extremely diverse environment.
    • Ability to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
    • Proven ability to effectively  coach team members through multiple priorities
    • Must have a firm grasp of the pharmaceutical industry and comprehensive knowledge of analytical techniques and report building
    • Excellent negotiating, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate highly effective working relationships with key internal departments
