Jazz’s medical affairs (MA) department grew in size and complexity 3 folds in the last few years. As a result we identified the need to support the integration of information and to align the department perspective across the different MA teams. This Associate Director (AD) will support the Vice President, Medical Affairs and the Medical Affairs Leadership Team (MALT) in doing so. The AD will be responsible for the establishment of processes to accommodate the construction and review of budgets, timelines, projects, and communications. The AD will be responsible for the effective implementation of these processes and will help focus the MALT on the departmental goals and objectives. The AD will be responsible for making strategic decisions, and act upon those decisions on behalf of the VP and MALT. This role will be vital in boosting the VP and the MALT effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, and accountability.
This position will provide a unique opportunity to the right person to learn the inner workings of a growing and highly collaborative MA organization. It might be a good fit for an MSL who is thinking about moving in-house or someone new to industry with the right experience and interest.
